Seresto Flea Collar for Large Dogs

I'm trying to decide of my puppy needs a small or large collar. If this lasts 8 months, she will only be able to wear the small (15 inches) for a little while. I measured and her neck is 11 inches, and thats without a little room. She is a 5 month old lab. I think I should go with large, dont you?

My 30# dog loves to swim in the summertime. Should I replace it before the 8 months? If so , how frequently?
Answer:
Seresto is water resistant and remains effective following a shampoo treatment, swimming or after exposure to rain or sunlight. Under normal conditions, effectiveness lasts for 8 months. In order to maintain an 8-month duration, dogs must not be bathed more than once per month. For dogs that swim once a month or more, the control duration is reduced to 5 months for flea control and reduced to 7 months for tick control.
